Family reflex in policy and practice
We ask policymakers, researchers, and social practitioners to adopt a “family reflex”—so that both policy and practice are truly aligned with the needs of families.
But what does a family reflex actually mean in concrete terms? Who applies it—or who should?
We’re exploring these questions from the ground up, through a series of conversations with stakeholders about the family reflex and how we can develop it both conceptually and practically as a lens for action.
- On 15 May 2025, the International Day of Families, we launched the series with the theme 'the family reflex and housing'.
- On 17 September 2025, we organised roundtable discussions on 'the family reflex and education'.
Are you interested in these topics and would like to take part in one of the roundtables? Feel free to get in touch!
