Family and Partnership Relations

Partner relationships and their dynamics are important research topics. In the practice of family counselling, after all, you cannot separate parenting from the partner relationship.

A positive perception of the partner relationship goes in parallel with a positive perception of parenting. But partner relationships today are very diverse and more subject to change than in the past. In recent years, our research has responded to all kinds of developments in society and in the field of partner relationship support.

We also focus on other family relationships. For example, the relationship between brothers and sisters, also referred to as siblings, is essential in each person's life but often remains understudied in policy and research. Relations between generations are also often the subject of our activities.
